Good quality for peg perego. A little expensive. Also two slits in cover in back could help attaching car seat in cover to car seat transporter while going through airport Peg Perego USA Car Seat Travel Bag, Black

Poorly made and falls apart after very little use. After one flight the bag already had a hole in it.

it's really easy to take the car seat in and out of this bag due to the wraparound zip. just wish it was less pricy!
We are so lucky not have to have to buy two car seats, this base is all we need to move child from one vehicle to the next vehicle. It's convenient and fits in most vehicles. Not to mention the car seat also clips into a stroller for infants so it is very convenient. We absolutely will recommend Peg Perego to any new parent for the quality in the car seat and having the option to buy extra bases.Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 Extra Base, Charcoal

We brought our PegPerego Primo Viaggio from Germany where we used it with an IsoFix base. Therefore we bought this base in order to install it in our US car which has the LATCH system. Works just fine with the children's seat from Germany..

Bought this Perego product for our 3rd child and beats the other "snap-in" products by far! The base is smaller in size compared to the others we have used so it gives us the flexibility to fit three seats in a row and has a secure fit in a large variety of vehicles. We would purchase this again over any other.

This extra base is nice to have if you are going to be transporting baby in more than one car. (Then, you don't have to move the base around, just keep it attached in each car.) I love how it clicks in to my car easily using the LATCH system and adjusts using knob. You can tell it is in the right spot when the arrow is in the green section- so easy to tell if you have it installed correctly.

This is so much nicer than having to buy two complete car seats for baby. Easy in and easy out, and doesn't take up as much room.

We wanted a second base for our other car. Exactly what we expected. Same as the base that came with seat.

Worth the money for the ease not having to change out your base to another car. Learning that Peg Perego puts a five year warranty on all of their products for degradation of the plastic used is a little much, but maybe there's more than meets the eye and the company being overcautious?

It's a nice base but whats up with the cost? Yes, Peg-Perego is a premium brand but I was surprised to see the base cost so high. Over all the quality is very good and the base you receive is the same as the one you get with your car seat. The Peg-Perego car seat and base are usually more heavy than other brands but cant beat the quality and look!
First and foremost, I have no practical review for this product. My baby isn't due for another couple months but I will give my first impression. I LOVE it.

When I was looking for infant car seats, I was giving myself a headache! There are so many pro's and con's to each one, personal opinions etc.Peg-Perego Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat, Myrto

One of the things that I read was some people said that this car seat was heavy, but I disagree. I find it difficult to life most things and compared to the Graco infant car seat I had with my daughter, I didn't find it particularly heavy or cumbersome.

Also, and probably the most important aspect in my decision is that this car seat has no black on it, except the base and the handlebar. I LOVE that! I find it extremely annoying that so many baby products are so DARK. I wanted a happy, light(er) color for my son to be riding around in and this was perfect. The shades of green are so nice!!

The head/body insert also looks very nice and comfortable.

Built well easy to use. I feel like all the side impact feature really keeps my child safe. I like the green color too because we didn't find the gender of our child and this was neutral without being plain.

Excellent car seat. Our baby girl was small when she was born so we had to use an infant insert. the handle can also be used as an anti rollover bar when positioned forward against the back of the seat. Love the green.

Before I get to the issue itself, let me start by saying that the car seat is awesome. It fit my newborn perfectly and still fits him now (he's 10months old). It's very safe, and also fits on the peg perego strollers, which is a great added value and practicality.

My issue isn't with the carseat, it's with the lack of FAA approved label. This car seat IS FAA approved, but it doesn't say that anywhere. The result was my worst ever flight as I was a dad travelling alone with my baby on my lap and a car seat that I had to carry everywhere but wasn't allowed to use on the aircraft. So I went through the hassle of carrying the seat just because I wanted the peace of mind during the flight, but I didn't get that because all airlines are (rightly so) required to check if the car seat is FAA approved before allowing someone to use the seat in question.

In a few months he will need a larger car seat and I will definitely look to peg perego, but I won't buy if there's no FAA label on it. I learned a tough lesson.

We got this today as a gift - we have not used it yet, as baby isn't due for 2 more months. I wanted to write that the color s beautiful. It feels very sturdy and it is so soft! I love the infant seat that it has too! It looks like a great car seat! I love that it is so bright and everyone can see it. Just need the matching stroller to go along with it :)

This is my second Primo Viaggio and I really the the Peg Perego brand! My only complaint is that the handle is a little harder to adjust than the older model. Otherwise I really love how well made the seat is. The base is very heavy duty and solid, not flimsy plastic like other brands. The color is great, very neutral and easy to clean. Overall this us a great car seat.Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 Car Seat, Grey

This baby seat is super stylish and my baby looks very comfortable in it. It has a liner that keeps her head in place. But it is way too heavy for me to take in and out of the car. I am 5'1" and I have a difficult time taking it in and out of my suv.

The look is sleek and high end. I call it my "cadillac carseat". My only reservation on giving it 5 stars is that it is hard to pull the lever up in the back to actually get it off of the base. But it might just be me. Extremely nice purchase.

This car seat is worth the money. Very sturdy, and really well built. i love the color as well. The base is also great

after i attend the prenatal class, I realized that this car seat is not certified by ICBC so that it is not insurable in canada. if you want to use it in canada, please do not buy car seat in USA.

This is a great seat and very good looking. I find that my baby is sweaty while in it, though. I figure it so snug and safe that it is hot. All parts are removable to wash, which I had to do within the first 5 uses. Very convenient. It is heavy though. I have the bases in my cars so the seat just snaps in. It's a work out to get him in and out without clunking the seat around. I bought it with the matching Uno stroller.

Got the best price on the car seat from the warehouse damage selection. Only a small hole in the box that didn't affect the product. Haven't used the seat yet, but had an earlier model that lasted for kids 1-4. Glad the seats are built to accommodate babies until 30" because mine quickly grew out of the older version.

It is the ideal first car seat if you have a Peg Perego stroller. It fits perfectly well. Easy to use. Easily adjustable. And you can have the same color in the stroller and the seat. Price may change regarding the color you choose.
There are already quite a few great reviews, so I won't go into a bunch of detail. We were super lucky to win this seat in a raffle (hence no "Amazon Verified Purchase" note), and I couldn't be happier with it! Our son has been using it since he was 16 months old, when he was 32" and 21lbs, and he is currently 22 months, 34.25", and 25 lbs. I think he will be happy in it for years to come.Peg Perego Convertible Premium Infant to Toddler Car Seat, Black

The seat seems like it would be very comfortable - nicely padded, nice fabric, shoulder strap pads that are not stiff; my son falls asleep in it all the time, so I'm guessing that it is actually very comfortable for him.

Compared to our Chicco NextFit, it is very easy to get our son in and out of (the sides are a bit lower profile), and the harness straps are super easy to adjust. Also, compared to the NextFit, our son doesn't get at all as sweaty in this seat.

Because the sides are relatively low, our son, at 22 months, has no problems climbing in and out of it himself - we have it installed in the middle position, so he is able to use the vehicle seat quite a bit as he is climbing in,but I think he would still be okay if the car seat were installed in one of the outboard positions.

There is not a stated rear facing height limit (the limit is in relation to the shell height - I think 1" below the top of the shell in the 7th position), but it seems that it will allow a child to remain rear facing longer than most car seats on the market. The rear facing weight limit is higher than average at 45 pounds.

If you want to see a very interesting visual review of rear facing height limits for convertible car seats, do an internet search for: A Height Comparison of Rear Facing Convertible Car Seats on the Car Seats for the Littles web site (CSFTL.org; they also have a GREAT group on facebook if you are looking for car seat advice or have questions about best practices for car seat use). Amazon will not let me post a URL web link, but the search above should easily get you to the height comparison.

The only negative thing I have to say about this seat is that it is a pain in the butt to install with the seat belt, but it is not impossible, and as long as you don't have to do it often, it is not a big deal. I have heard that it is quite easy to install with LATCH.

We've been using this car seat for six months now, and I couldn't be happier! My son is 19 months - we still have him rear-facing for safety, and the seat keeps him perfectly comfortable. My favorite thing about it is how easy it is to get him in and out of. The tightening strap pulls very smoothly, and without much effort unlike his old one (Baby Trend).

Was searching long and hard for a convertible car seat to fit rear-facing in the back of my Scion TC which is so small that even an infant seat used to push the passenger seat forward a few inches.

I put the seat RF in the middle. Mind you it is a royal pain to climb into the back seat to strap the baby in, but I refuse to spend money on a new car since I only drive with my son once or twice a week.

The seat is very well made, it was easy to install and it is clear that they have used quality materials and fabrics. Once my son gets over his initial annoyance at being strapped into yet another 'baby jail', he falls asleep or sits contentedly in this seat.

This carseat is simply perfect. I love the multiple recline positions, and my daughter does, too. The seat is very comfortable and well-padded. My daughter's head is well-supported and she often falls asleep in it. Her head never flops forward or flops around, which was a problem with the Britax Boulevard, which sat her too upright. Another plus over the Boulevard is that the Peg's shoulder guards are a soft, padded fabric, whereas the Boulevard's shoulder guards are a bulky rubber. The big selling point to me with this seat was the shoulder pads and the Side Impact Protection. The PEG is so well-made, we bought two of these - one for each car in the household.

This car seat was even better than expected! So easy to use and the baby is much happier than his infant seat. We switched him at about 15lbs and he was 3 months old. I've recommended this seat to several friends already!
